 VAN NUYS , CA – In August, Micro Solutions
Enterprises (MSE) completed the rigorous training
program conducted by a certified I-ITC trainer. MSE
was verified compliant of the applied combined
test method criteria and was given STMC Certified
status. Only a small fraction of companies in this
industry have earned the right to display the STMC
logo on their products, packaging, and marketing
materials. MSE is proud to join this group intent on
the standardization of product testing methods
within our industry.
Standardized testing is a series of
integrated tests that provide a
method of evaluation in an
all-in-one format. The testing is
performed in a logical sequence
where failure of any segment
requires termination of the testing
to ensure integrity to all facets of
the qualification process. The
testing includes:
- Package Integrity per: ISTA 1A
- Standard Practice for Determining Toner Usage for
Printer Cartridges, (ASTM F 1856)
- Density Measurement, Geometric Conditions for
Reflection Density, (ANSI IT2.17)
- Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Larger
Area Density and Background on
Electro-photographic Printers (ASTM F 2036)
The International Imaging Technology Council
(I-ITC) is a non-profit trade association that
endeavors to represent the interests of the world’s
imaging supplies industry including: computer /
office machine supply, retail, repair, networking, and
remanufacturing. The I-ITC seeks to unify industries
such as remanufacturers, distributors, and
resellers/dealers. They also represent the industry
through legislative and legal matters and advance
the industry through reliable testing standards and
product enhancement programs such as the
Standardized Test Methods Committee (STMC).
MSE manufactures and distributes

cartridges, MICR toner cartridges,
inkjets and thermal transfer
ribbons. MSE’s manufacturing
capacity now exceeds 300,000
toners and 500,000 inkjet
cartridges per month. MSE owns

Pennsylvania as well as additional distribution
facilities in Mexico, Canada and Holland.
